New Georgia Child Support Guidelines

In the past few days, we have received a number of calls from our clients regarding technology requirements for the new Calculation of Child Support Guidelines (O.C.G.A. §19-6-15) which will become effective January 1, 2007. There is some confusion over what computer software and hardware needs to be purchased in order to support the new law. Through January 31, 2007, A&J Computers is offering a free checkup of all your computers to ensure your office’s readiness for O.C.G.A §19-6-15. This checkup will include ensuring you have the correct version of Microsoft® Excel installed, checking the Analysis Tool Pack Add-In is enabled and testing your Internet connection. In addition, we will verify your anti-virus is up to date and schedule a test of your backup system. As an Authorized Microsoft® Partner, we can supply you with all of the software necessary for the new worksheets. In addition, our partnerships with other hardware and software vendors allows us to ensure your computing environment is fully protected.
